JOURNEYMAN MASTER ARTISTRY II

450 HOURS

Our Journeyman Makeup Artistry II program is designed to educate and certify each student in all aspects of makeup artistry including beauty, fashion, airbrush, character, special effects, molding, and sculpting. We train our students to be prepared to work in all mediums including special occasion, bridal, stage, television, film, print, runway and much more. In addition, they will learn how to create and design their own prosthetic pieces in the Molding and Sculpting portion of this program as well as safety procedures and Business development to name a few. This course combines our Beauty & Editorial Artistry, Character FX programs, and Molding & Sculpting program.  

JOURNEYMAN MASTER ARTISTRY II CURRICULUM COVERS:

  • Fundamentals of Sculpting
  • Sculpting small appliances (injuries, facial features, etc.)
  • Blending edges and creating texture
  • Learning how to bring a character on paper to life.
  • Applying and Removing Appliances
  • Pre-Painting Pieces 
  • Creating entire characters 
  • Multiple Projects
  • Practical exams
  • Final character creation

* MOLDING & SCULPTING, can be taken separately, must be a  Journeyman I graduate, Character FX graduate, or a working Special Effects Artist.

 JOURNEYMAN MASTER ARTISTRY I 

300 HOURS

 Our Journeyman Master Artistry course trains our students to become professional Makeup Artists. Students with a Journeyman Master Artistry certificate can branch out into many specialty fields. Whether it is a desired career in Beauty Makeup or Special Effects,  this program will give students the opportunity to excel in their industry. We end the course with a final project and photo shoot. Students will receive a certification upon completion of this course

bASIC & ADVANCED ARTISTRY

75 HOURS

This two-part program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Makeup. It is the starter program for all aspiring Makeup Artists. Students will benefit from this course, as it will give them key information and the practice necessary to be proficient in the art of Makeup as well as the skills essential to begin a career in this field.

Basic Makeup

The initial part of the program will cover:

  • Basic Business Theory.

BEAUTY & EDITORIAL ARTISTRY

150 HOURS

Students will learn to produce flawless makeup applications for all industries from bridal to runway to all things entertainment.  They will learn both the application process and the business of a freelance artist.  We end the course with a final project and photo shoot. Students will receive a certification upon completion of this course. This course can be combined with any other course for a discounted price and advanced education.
